Acesso em:.https://bdm.ufpa.br/handle/prefix/9507This study analyzes and compares the infrastructure conditions of four schools located in different communities within the Verde para Sempre Extractive Reserve (RESEX), seeking to identify inequalities, determining factors, and impacts on the educational process. The research was developed through the systematization of four supervised internship reports, involving observation of the school context, pedagogical planning, intervention, and critical reflections on teaching practice. The results reveal significant discrepancies between schools regarding the physical state of buildings, availability of furniture, environmental conditions, access to teaching resources, and structural maintenance. It was found that geographical and socio-environmental factors, along with difficult access, directly influence school conditions, aggravating challenges related to operation and student retention. Furthermore, the study established that precarious infrastructure interferes with teaching and learning, the pedagogical possibilities for teachers, and student engagement. Although community initiatives for repair and collective care exist, government actions prove to be insufficient and discontinuous.
