Horizontal signs aim to organize traffic, consisting of marks, lines, stripes and legends on the pavement. This research aims to verify the costs of applying and maintaining horizontal traffic signs. This impact was verified through research and documents related to Antônio Barreto Street in the city of Belém in the State of Pará. To carry out this study, a bibliographic review was carried out. This study aims to analyze the costs involved in horizontal signs, as well as their maintenance and durability. This impact was verified through research and documents on the implementation of horizontal signs, as well as their maintenance related to Antônio Barreto Street in the State of Pará.
