Acesso em:.https://bdm.ufpa.br/handle/prefix/9535Early Childhood Education is the first stage of Basic Education and is aimed at the integral development of children from zero to five years of age in their physical, affective, intellectual, linguistic and social aspects, compleming the action of the family and community. Therefore, this work is a research on early Childhood Education with the following general objective: to analyze the main documents; historicity; and the rights of integration and permanence of children from 0 to 5 years in the child education process in the municipality of Portel/Pará. Within the specificities this document will systematically point out the course of early childhood education and reflection on indicative numbers and the reality experienced in the locus of research, obviously, bringing information that pervade the global to the site in As far as possible. For the accomplishment of the research, we used the field of bibliographic research of an exploratory nature and with the reflections being empirical and contextualized with several self of education such as: Demo (2003), Mendez (1994), Montessori (1965), among others. As a result of the research, it is concluded that childcare in Portel mostly works in a situation of extreme precariousness, especially in the countryside, where children need to pick up precarious boats to get to school.
