The general objective of the research was to analyze the contribution of agroecological practices to strengthening food security in the community's agroecosystems. As specific objectives, it sought to identify existing agroecosystems, conduct a survey of the food produced, apply interviews and questionnaires to families, and organize a survey on food availability throughout the year. The methodology was characterized as a qual-quantitative and descriptive case study, conducted with an intentional sample of nine farming families. Data collection took place between March and April 2026 through direct observation, technical visits, and the application of semi-structured questionnaires, whose quantitative data were subjected to descriptive statistics and qualitative data analyzed through Content Analysis. It was observed that the adoption of sustainable production methods—such as diversified productive homegardens, organic soil management, and Agroforestry Systems (SAFs) integrating cacao, açaí, banana, and vegetables—contributes to the conservation of Amazonian biodiversity, in addition to promoting improvements in the social and economic conditions of residents. The results indicate that the integration between traditional knowledge and environmentally responsible practices favors the production of healthier and more balanced food, strengthening food security and reducing environmental impacts. Furthermore, it was verified that sustainability-oriented initiatives can enhance the value of local resources and stimulate resilient community development. Thus, it is recommended to incentivize policies and actions that support agroecological practices, combined with technical training and community empowerment, as key strategies to promote sustainable development in the Amazon context.Acesso AbertoSegurança alimentarAgroecologiaSustentabilidade ambientalBiodiversidadeDesenvolvimento comunitárioFood securityAgroecologyEnvironmental sustainabilityBiodiversityCommunity developmentCNPQ::CIENCIAS AGRARIASPráticas agroecológicas e segurança alimentar na vila do Guarumã, Acará-PATrabalho de Curso - Graduação - MonografiaAttribution-NoDerivs 3.0 Brazil
