The computerization of processes is an exemple of this phenomenon: very bureaucratic processes and tasks are becoming easier and quicker to be done thanks to computation. The main purpose of this work is to present a practical example of how computerization of processes can improve a workplace with the new system of ordinances of the Federal University of Pará. This system was created in 2017 in order to satisfy many internal demands from employees that are directly involved with ordinance registration and signature, along with external demands from employees that access ordinances, such as: document padronization, storage centering, ordinance queries using many parameters and the implantation of a digital signature module, integrated to this system to allow easier and automated ordinance signatures. With the implantation of this system, the results were very satisfying: the use of paper and ink from the printer to print ordinances has been reduced by 66% and the expectation is that this redution goes up to 100%.
