This disease is characterized by cardinal motor symptoms and non-motor symptoms. Worldwide, the number of people with Parkinson's disease (PcP) has been increasing from 2.5 million to 6.1 million between 1990 and 2016. Aerobic land-based locomotion exercises are a good alternative for the treatment of these individuals. With this, the primary objective is to present a randomized clinical trial protocol to investigate the responses of low (LI) and high intensity (HI) locomotor interval training (LIT) on the functional parameters of PcP. And the secondary objective to correlate the responses of TLI with secondary variables: cognition, quality of life, disease stages. And also, to present a spreadsheet of clinical evaluations and training control as material developed in the scientific initiation: Quantification of optimal walking speed to determine the Nordic Walking (NW) training load in PcP. The sample will be PcP in staging 1 to 4 on the Hoehn and Yahr scale, which will be randomized into 2 intervention groups BI and AI and 1 Control Group: Education and Health in Parkinson's Disease (CG). The interventions will take place over a period of 20 weeks, involving assessments and training. The volume of training will be quantified by the percentage of the 6-minute Walk Test (%WWT6) multiplied by the cycles of interval stimuli (Volume = Stimuli x %WT6). The intensities will be at three different walking speeds: self-selected, intermediate, and maximum (LI), and maximum, trot, and sprint (HI). To control the intensity, we will use the subjective perception of walking (SPM), adapted in the Subjective Perception of Exertion Scale (SPE) with values 0 to 10. Expected results: We expect that both trainings, regardless of intensity, will promote improvements in functional parameters, compared to the control group. However, it is expected that the high intensity group will be more efficient than the low intensity group. Conclusion: LIT is a proposal for rehabilitation and exercise programs for PcP.Acesso AbertoDoença de ParkinsonExercício físicoBastões para marchaParkinson's DiseasePhysical exerciseWalking sticksCNPQ::CIENCIAS DA SAUDERespostas do treinamento locomotor intervalado de baixa e alta intensidade sobre parâmetros clínicos-funcionais em pessoas com Parkinson: um protocolo de ensaio clínico randomizadoTrabalho de Curso - Graduação - MonografiaAttribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivs 3.0 Brazil
