Acesso em:.https://bdm.ufpa.br/handle/prefix/10428Punching shear in the flanges of inverted T-shaped reinforced concrete beams is a structural phenomenon of significant importance to the performance and safety of elements subjected to concentrated loads, as it may compromise their load-bearing capacity if not properly considered during the design process. In this context, this study aimed to analyze the structural behavior of punching shear in the flanges of inverted T-shaped reinforced concrete beams through the integration and comparative analysis of results obtained from two experimental programs involving simply supported and cantilever beam models. The research is characterized as an applied study with qualitative and quantitative approaches, based on the analysis of experimental results previously published in the technical literature. The study evaluated the geometric characteristics of the models, the mechanical properties of the materials, the reinforcement detailing, the support conditions, the experimental procedures, and the failure mechanisms observed during the tests. Subsequently, the experimental results were compared with the predictions provided by the AASHTO LRFD specifications, considering load-bearing capacity, crack development, and failure modes. The results showed that punching shear was the predominant failure mechanism in all analyzed models, demonstrating that the structural configuration influenced both the load-bearing capacity of the beams and the crack distribution. Furthermore, the predictions provided by AASHTO LRFD exhibited conservative behavior when compared with the experimental results. The integration of the two experimental programs enabled a comprehensive evaluation of the structural behavior of inverted T-shaped beam flanges, improving the understanding of the influence of different structural configurations on punching shear resistance and providing technical support for the improvement of structural analysis, design procedures, and future research related to this type of structural element.Acesso AbertoPunçãoVigas T invertidasConcreto armadoCarregamentos pontuaisComportamento estruturalPunching shearInverted T-shaped beamsReinforced concreteConcentrated loadsStructural behaviorCNPQ::ENGENHARIAS::ENGENHARIA CIVIL::ESTRUTURAS::ESTRUTURAS DE CONCRETOAnálise do comportamento estrutural à punção em mesas de viga T invertidasTrabalho de Curso - Graduação - MonografiaAttribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivs 3.0 Brazil
