The study is based on the recognition of housing as a space for life, sociability, and resistance, integrating technical, social, and symbolic aspects of living. The methodological process adopted relies on active listening and the direct participation of residents, who are regarded as central agents in the project. Based on the physical and social diagnosis of the dwelling, project solutions were developed aimed at improving habitability, accessibility, and environmental comfort, while respecting the family structure and the community role played by the residence.
