Therefore, knowledge of the characteristics of the cementation process is important so that there are no negative effects on the survival of the prosthesis. This article reviews the available scientific literature and presents in vitro studies, with the objective of presenting qualitative effects of cementation of ceramics made in lithium disilicate. With the previously defined search criteria, 191 articles were identified in the databases, 52 in the Web of Science, 6 in the Capes Periodicals and 133 in the PUBMED, after applying the exclusion and inclusion criteria 12 articles answered the guiding question of the job. At the end of the analysis, four study variants were highlighted: marginal discrepancy, bond strength, cementation interface and adhesion according to the surface treatment. It is possible to state that despite the variability of cementation systems, there is no one that has the perfect characteristics. However, systems with self-adhesive resin cements have shown promise in combining the benefits of cementation with a more user-friendly technique. However, further research with long-term randomized controlled trials is necessary to have a general recommendation on its use.Acesso AbertoCimentaçãoDissilicato de LítioRestaurações indiretaCementationLithium DisilicateIndirect restorationsCNPQ::CIENCIAS DA SAUDE::ODONTOLOGIAAnálise da cimentação de próteses confeccionadas em Dissilicato de LítioTrabalho de Curso - Graduação - MonografiaAttribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivs 3.0 Brazil
