Acesso em:.https://bdm.ufpa.br/handle/prefix/10402The integration of sensors with the Internet of Things (IoT) and Building Information Modeling (BIM) has intensified in the management and operation of buildings. This study aimed to analyze the integration of IoT sensors and BIM in the construction industry through a Systematic Literature Review (SLR). A total of 135 articles were identified in the Scopus and ScienceDirect databases, resulting in the selection of 24 studies. The analyses revealed the convergence of sensors, BIM, and Digital Twins, with a predominance of environmental and structural sensors for monitoring and controlling building performance. The main barriers identified were the high implementation costs, the need for specialized knowledge, and interoperability challenges among software platforms.
