Based on this assertion, this article proposes a reflection on hospital pedagogy, specifically, in the context of care for hospitalized children/adolescents based on the following question: In what terms does the pedagogue help in the continuity of the education of hospitalized children/adolescents? The general objective of this study is to analyze the contributions of pedagogy and the challenges of the pedagogue's work in a hospital context, emphasizing the activities proposed by the educator collaborating in the research.
