It seeks to know this collection in its characteristics of rarity and conservation status. Uses bibliographic research and visits to BC's Rare Books sector for data collection. The corpus of the study is formed of four publications: a) El ingenioso hidalgo Don Quixote de La Mancha (1605-1615); b) Les religions du monde… (1666); c) Copia de dos cartas escritas de un misionero… (1681); and d) La femme desmasquée… (1698). It reveals that only the work of Miguel de Cervantes is registered in the National Plan for the Recovery of Rare Books. From the corpus of the research, only El ingenioso hidalgo Don Quixote de La Mancha... and Les religions du monde... have digitized versions available on the Internet.
