The study was conducted in partnership with the Rede de Coleções e Museus da Universidade Federal do Pará and focused on objects from the indigenous ethnographic collection of the Arthur Napoleão Figueiredo Anthropology Laboratory of the same university. The main objective is to identify the main damages that affect this heritage, in addition to briefly proposing practical conservation guidelines adapted to tropical environmental conditions. The methodology was based on a bibliographic review and a case study, which allowed the analysis of three objects from the indigenous collection. The results revealed the presence of biological, physical and chemical damage, which were classified and illustrated, highlighting the need for rigorous environmental control and conservation techniques specific to the Amazon region. It is expected that this research will contribute to the development of effective strategies adapted to the Amazonian context for the conservation of feathered objects, promoting their preservation and ensuring the safeguarding of the region's heritage.Acesso AbertoMuseologiaPreservaçãoColeções museológicasPlumáriasMuseum StudiesPreservationMuseum CollectionsFeather CollectionsCNPQ::CIENCIAS SOCIAIS APLICADAS::MUSEOLOGIAConservação e diagnóstico de Plumárias: estudo e reflexões sobre o ambiente AmazônicoTrabalho de Curso - Graduação - ArtigoAttribution 3.0 Brazil
