Venomous snakes account for the majority of cases. Medically relevant snakes have a specific geographic distribution. Accidents caused by these animals have a major impact on health, affecting work activities, causing socio-economic damage, and impacting quality of life due to the possibility of sequelae. This study aims to analyze the spatial distribution of snakebite cases in the mesoregions of the state of Pará, Brazil, from 2008 to 2022. It is a descriptive and cross-sectional study with a quantitative approach, using a historical series from 2008 to 2022. The data were collected through a survey of secondary data from notifications of snakebite cases in the mesoregions of the state of Pará. A total of 76,862 snakebite cases were reported in the state of Pará, with Bothrops being the predominant type. The mesoregion with the highest number of cases was the Northeastern part of Pará, and the lowest was the Metropolitan area of Belém. The majority of cases involved men aged 20 to 39, with incomplete elementary education, experiencing a classified mild accident that progressed to recoveryAcesso AbertoAnimais PeçonhentosSerpentesOfidismoParáVenomous AnimalsSnakesOphidismCNPQ::CIENCIAS DA SAUDE::SAUDE COLETIVA::EPIDEMIOLOGIAPerfil clínico-epidemiológico dos acidentes ofídicos no Estado do ParáTrabalho de Curso - Graduação - Monografia
