Based on the National Common Curricular Base (BNCC), it begins by exploring how to critically articulate housing policies and the production of urban space in elementary education. It problematizes how schools can articulate content about the city, socio-spatial inequalities, and the right to housing, promoting a critical reading of reality. Based on a bibliographic review of authors such as Callai, Cavalcanti, Corrêa, Mendes, and others, the results indicate that understanding the contradictions of urbanization and the impacts of housing programs is fundamental to forming critical citizens aware of the urban and social dynamics of Brazil.Acesso AbertoUrbanizaçãoMinha Casa Minha VidaEnsino de GeografiaEducação BásicaAmazôniaUrbanizationGeography teachingBasic EducationAmazonCNPQ::CIENCIAS HUMANAS::GEOGRAFIA::GEOGRAFIA REGIONAL::ANALISE REGIONALUrbanização, moradia popular e ensino de Geografia: desafios e possibilidades no 8º Ano do Ensino Fundamental IITrabalho de Curso - Graduação - ArtigoAttribution 3.0 Brazil
