Jiu-Jitsu was developed for self-defense with techniques based on the principles of the body's articulation system and levers, thus avoiding the use of strength and weapons, allowing even the lightest individual to overcome a heavier opponent, relying not only on their strength but also on their techniques. Therefore, we will demonstrate how the study of levers is extremely important for the effective application of techniques, and to illustrate this, we will showcase this principle applied to three significant moves within this martial art.
