This work is guided by the following question: "are there scientific productions that discuss the theme of informational practices in Archival Science?". Aligned to the research problem, the general objective of this research was to carry out a bibliographic survey of scientific productions on informational practices in the Brazilian archival context and the specific objectives are to identify the researches that address the theme of informational practices in Archival Science, to analyze the trends and thematic recurrences related to informational practices in academic productions thematic recurrences related to informational practices in academic productions and to characterize the main theories and concepts about informational practices found in the archival literature. It is justified by the need to map and identify possible gaps in the theoretical contributions of informational practices in the field of Archival Science, due to the great relevance that have for the area of user studies. To achieve the intended result, the methodology of Systematic Bibliographic Review was used, through search strings it was possible to collect data in the databases of the Portal of Journals of the Coordination of People of Higher Education, Referential Database of Journal Articles in Information Science, Scientific Electronic Library Online, Brazilian Digital Library of Theses and Dissertations, Catalog of Theses and Dissertations of the Coordination for the Improvement of Higher Education Personnel and on Google Scholar. As a result, the presence of scientific production on informational practices in Archival Science in the national literature, as well as the identification of the term “informational practices” in different research contexts beyond user studies.
