Acesso em:.https://bdm.ufpa.br/handle/prefix/8889This work investigates costume as a symbolic language, understanding it not only as an aesthetic element but also as a narrative device capable of constructing meaning and enhancing dramaturgy. The research adopts the process of stage disassembly as a methodological approach applied to costume creation, allowing for the revisiting, analysis, and systematization of the stages of conception, research, experimentation, and execution. As a case study, the creative process of Who Killed Jack? is mapped, documenting everything from the iconographic research of the 1940s to the materialization of the pieces. The analysis highlights costume as a synthesis of artistic, historical, and functional choices, reaffirming it as an integral and symbolic part of scenic narrative.
