Data collection was performed in the period of October 2017, through semi-structured interviews based on the set of basic knowledge categories for the Shulman (2005) teaching. The data collected, transcribed and validated by participants were entered in the software Atlas Ti and 7.1 by the constant comparison process of Strauss and Corbin (2008). The results were presented in two metacategories: 1) Teaching trajectory: relations between knowledge and health education of nursing care; 2) Knowledge of the educational context and the students: influences in the objectives of the training. The basic knowledge categories of Shulman (2005), connected to each other, were not investigated. The trajectory of teacher training is the starting point, and exerts an important influence on general pedagogical knowledge, content, and pedagogical content, in teaching the direction of care. The context of knowledge, the knowledge of the educational and the students, influence the knowledge of consecution the nursing in nursing.
