In this way, our studies focus on the theoretical perspectives of Luckesi (2014), Almeida (2007), Fortuna (2011), Fiorin (2012), Duarte et al. (2011) and others. In this sense, this research has as general objective to reflect on classroom playfulness, more precisely, the pedagogical game as an instrument for the development of the lexical capital of elementary school students; and as specific objectives: 1) to elaborate a pedagogical game to aid in the development of the lexical capital of elementary school students, and 2) to verify if pedagogical games can provide the reflexively development of lexical capital.
