This study aimed to compare the productive and economic performance of the Concreform (60 kN/m²) and Tekko (40 kN/m²) metal formwork systems, both supplied by SH® Fôrmas, Andaimes e Escoramentos, Belém (PA) branch, using cost compositions with a 2026 base year, with the conventional timber formwork system, onsidering columns, foundation blocks, and walls. The research adopted a quantitative and comparative approach and analyzed 60 actual metal formwork projects, for which equivalent timber scenarios were established based on cost and productivity compositions from the Brazilian National System for Research on Construction Costs and indexes (SINAPI) for the state of Pará, using June 2026 as the reference month, totaling 120 analysis scenarios. Costs per quare meter, productivity rates expressed in labor-hours per square meter (HH/m²), percentage cost variation, and reduction in labor demand were evaluated. The results showed that timber formwork provided greater initial cost savings for columns and walls, whereas the metal systems were more competitive for foundation blocks. Regarding productivity, the Concreform and Tekko systems required less labor in all structural typologies analyzed, with the greatest advantage observed in foundation blocks. It is concluded that no formwork system is universally superior, making an integrated assessment of structural typology, costs, and productivity essential. The results indicate that decisions based exclusively on cost per square meter may lead to incomplete assessments of the overall performance of the adopted solution.
