In this context, living labs are configured as experimental environments that integrate users, researchers, and technologies in real situations, with the aim of testing, validating, and improving sustainable solutions. This research investigates recent advances in living labs applied to housing, with an emphasis on climate change mitigation and adaptation, and proposes a conceptual and replicable model of a low-carbon living lab aimed at developing guidelines for climate-resilient social housing projects. The study is based on a literature review, analysis of hybrid construction systems, and evaluation of low-impact environmental materials, with emphasis on timber from sustainable forest management and the reuse of waste. The practical component consists of the design of two low-carbon prototypes intended for testing environmental, thermal, and construction performance, developed from the climatic conditions of hot and humid regions, such as Belém (PA), and conceived within a university environment.
