Objective: To describe and analyze the experiences of the Extension Project "Occupational Therapy in Educational Contexts", regarding the continuing education of Hospital Education teachers. Method: The study results from the actions of the Extension Project "Occupational Therapy in Educational Contexts" 2014/2015. Participated in the survey 7 teachers of Hospital Education, trained in the areas of Teaching degrees and Pedagogy. Four meetings were held in June 2015, in the afternoon, once a week and with an average duration of 2 hours, in places outside the work environment. The meetings were subdivided into two moments: Professional training for teaching and personal formation. Results: The first meeting sought to create a therapeutic link and to understand the general emergent difficulties and perceptions of teachers about their practices; the second meeting deepened the discussions about daily hospital life, the specific difficulties of each place and the recognition of the process of finitude as a natural aspect of human life; the third meeting discussed biosecurity and first aid strategies; and finally, the fourth meeting allowed the knowledge of the clinical repercussions of each diagnosis under studentpatient learning. Discussion: It was noticed a reinforcement in the teachers' speeches, of the topics to be addressed in the training meetings, in other words, there was a recurrent externalization about the complexity of the hospital routine, questions related to biosafety and first aid, as well as the correlation between diagnosis and process of student learning. In addition, the organizational structure of the formations provided a space for the sharing of knowledge and favored a constant correlation of the themes presented with the daily hospital. Conclusion: The present study allowed the researchers to contact other educational contexts and their facets, allowing the interrelation between theory and practice from the activities offered to the community, thus achieving the objectives of the University Extension. In addition, it reinforced how promising the investigations of Occupational Therapy in the field of education, beyond the formal spaces of learning commonly expressed by the scientific community.
