Acesso em:.http://bdm.ufpa.br/jspui/handle/prefix/1757This Senior Research Project will show a research about an inversion scheme to determine local anisotropy in the vicinity of receiver located in a borehole through data from a walkaway multi-azimuthal VSP experiment. The data are the vertical components of the slowness vector and of the polarization vector of the direct and re ected qP waves. The inversion is made through approximate rst-order around an isotropic medium of reference establishing a linear expression between weak anisotropy parameters (parameters WA) and the vertical components of slowness and polarization vector.
