Acesso em: .https://bdm.ufpa.br/jspui/handle/prefix/7891This study aimed to investigate whether teachers who work in the fields of science and biology use didactic resources in a multimodal context, particularly when teaching bilingual deaf students. This was a qualitative, exploratory, and descriptive research focusing on teachers who work in the fields of sciences and biology in basic education in the municipality of Bragança, Pará. The study found that teachers use the following didactic resources: images in slides and shortened texts, models, illustrations from textbooks, photographs, illustrated boards, and augmented reality. The results indicate a coherent teaching practice, but the presence of Brazilian Sign Language (Libras) in schools, as well as the work of interpreters and translators, is very limited.
