Experimental tests and numerical simulations were conducted to evaluate the thermal and electrical behavior of supercapacitors under different operating conditions. The results indicate that temperature significantly affects the internal heat distribution and output voltage response, directly influencing the component's stability and lifespan. It was observed that degraded supercapacitors discharge approximately 40% faster than new ones, highlighting the effects of thermal aging. The comparison between the simulated model and the bench test highlights the importance of computational tools for optimizing design and predicting performance.
