Disponível em:https://bdm.ufpa.br/handle/prefix/8352 Acesso em:https://bdm.ufpa.br/handle/prefix/8352In this memoir, I report on the process of constructing the art direction for the short film Sonhos de Rio, seeking to reflect on an Amazonian visuality in the characterization of the spaces and the traces of regionality present in the work. To do this, I try to understand how personal memory plays a role in this research process, since my memories were essential in constructing characters and spaces, especially my grandmother's house, where most of the plot takes place. I also reflect on the role of the art director in cinema, as well as their contribution to cinematographic direction in the composition of visualities in the filmic image. This reflection comes from the perspective of someone who was not born in Pará and therefore has a differen trelationship with this space and this culture. In the memoir, I also share the difference between the planning and the adaptations needed to carry out the project and how the ideas were adjusted to the other departments and the financial reality.
