Acesso em:.https://bdm.ufpa.br/handle/prefix/3083The present study seeks to analyze the contamination caused by necrochorume in walls close to the Tapanã cemetery, which is located in the Tapanã neighborhood, Bélem-PA Administrative District. Where the research was divided into three stages, the first stage was to carry out the bibliographic consultation regarding the object of study on contamination caused by necrochorume in groundwater and for human consumption. The review was the starting point for establishing the criteria for selecting study areas in the vicinity of the cemetery. The second stage was the socio-environmental research through the application ‟Regressive Analysis of Socio-Environmental Vulnerability” (SEA), to understand what were the main changes that occurred since the construction of the cemetery and the third stage, a physical-chemical analysis of pH and electrical conductivity in shallow wells around the cemetery, to assess the possibility of necrochume, after pH analysis, samples 2A (pH 4.6) to 6A (pH 4.2) are out of the quality standard for human consumption. Regarding the electrical conductivity analyzes, 4A (96, 4 uS/cm) to 7A (320 uS/cm) present with high levels of dissolved salts, indicating the presence of necrochorume. SEA analyzes, on the other hand, showed the dimension of environmental impacts since its implementation to the present day, with emphasis on the drop in the dimension ‟Natural Resources (RN) and Environment (MA), presenting a rate of 56% in 1996 and in the year 2019 with 40% Index.
