Acesso em: .https://bdm.ufpa.br/handle/prefix/8879The objetive of this work was to understand the literacy process of a student with autism, analyzing the pedagogical practices of the regular classroom teacher in interaction with the specialized educational service room (AEE). The research was carried out in a 1st year/early years class at a municipal preschool and elementary school located in the city of Capanema, PA. A qualitative approach was adopted for this study. Data collection was carried out through semi-structured interviews, observation and socioeconomic questionnaire. The results indicate that the literacy process of the student with ASD is progressing as expected for their age and school level. However, pedagogical practices in the regular classroom reveal the need for more inclusive conditions.
