Good results for such monitoring is being shown by Marine Controlled Source Electromagnetic Method (MCSEM). The feasibility of the method was proven by previous works on this area. These works have shown MCSEM sensibility to lateral extents and thickness of resistive bodies. The results were sufficient to identify characteristics related to bottom and lateral flooding reservoir models when compared to the models without flooding, although it shows a weak power of magnitude. Extending these ideas, this work analyzes the responses obtained with MCSEM when applied to the depletion of reservoir models with more demanding characteristics such as thicker water layer, greater reservoir burrial depth, and smaller reservoir resistivity values. From these models it was noticed that, although having limitations, the MCSEM method can be used as a monitoring tool of more demanding reservoir models. At last, it was analised that for over demanding models, such as the known Brazilian reservoir model used on this work, the previously mentioned method cannot be utilized as a monitoring tool.Acesso AbertoGeofísica AplicadaMétodos eletromagnéticosMonitoramentoMCSEM 2.5DCNPQ::CIENCIAS EXATAS E DA TERRA::GEOCIENCIAS::GEOFISICAMCSEM como ferramenta de monitoramento de reservatórios de hidrocarbonetosTrabalho de Curso - Graduação - Monografia
