Acesso em:.http://bdm.ufpa.br/jspui/handle/prefix/738This study is based on the investigation of perspectives about dance, specifically the conceptions of a group of mothers of students from Colégio Sistema, in Belém do Pará. The research dialogues with the discussions about dance and its interlacing with school and education. The objective is to awaken the understanding about the relevance of dance as a knowledge constructor in the context of school, given the need to raise awareness about the contributions of dance to the education of the individual. The methodological action was performed through qualitative surveys and dance experiences with the mothers of the students, allowing a dive in the search of perspectives, shares and knowledge. The main authors that base this research are: Rubem Alves (2014) with his gaze focused on education, Fátima Dowbor (2008) with her notion of education as a brand and Isabel Marques (2007/2011) with her discussions about school dance.
