So this research was based on associativism in the area of archival science, presenting the relationships between the associations of the area, besides identifies the methods that should be used and analyzed for creating an association and the contributions she can make to a class of professionals. Considering the movement of associativism and the relationship with archival science, this research sought to address the associativism and its general aspects in the area of archival science and the creation of the Pará State Archivists Association – AAEPA and the aspects related to your creation. The purpose of this, besides the creation of the association in the State of Pará, is to analyze the associations of field, presenting their characteristics and how they act in their respective regions. The associativism is extremely important for a class to get out of anonymity and gain visibility in society. With the survey made in this research, we realize that the associations of archivists existing in Brazil, seek gives representativeness to professionals and always looking for improvements, for both professionals and students.
