Acesso em:.https://bdm.ufpa.br/handle/prefix/9546This study addresses the activities carried out within the research project entitled Statutes and Associativism in the Brazilian Amazon: Studies on the statutory documentation of cultural, commercial, political, religious, recreational, sports, and professional associations in the state of Pará from 1835 to 1988. Studies on the statutory documentation of cultural, commercial, political, religious, recreational, sporting and professional associations in Pará from 1835 to 1988. Its general objective is to report on the experience of the aforementioned project; and its specific objectives are: a) To encourage heritage education in archives, thus expanding the archivist's area of activity; b) To analyze the project's corpus; c) To describe the archival activities carried out; and d) To highlight the main results obtained. It is characterized as descriptive, explanatory, quantitative, documentary research, in the action-research modality. A form for describing the statutes was used to collect the data. A total of 528 statutes were collected, 509 belonging to the collection of the Amazon Memory Center and 19 belonging to the collection of the Public Archive of the State of Pará.
