Furthermore, to identify the differences and similarities of the methods and approaches of cartographic teaching, as a way of understanding the factors that contribute to its efficiency. The great challenge within the classroom is to develop this critical sense of the student. The general objective of this work is to explain: How can the use of Google Earth help to understand geographical phenomena? And how do teachers evaluate the effectiveness of technologies in learning geography? This pedagogical proposal of cartography with the use of the google earth tool. To show the importance of cartography in the teaching of geography and how it can enrich the educational process of students. In order to have a cartographic construction, for this purpose it was proposed for the students, an immersion in the history and local geography, with a focus on the Altamira stream. The proposed activities from satellite images can lead students in the construction of knowledge and, consequently, in the creation of maps that have meaning for them. In this way, it is possible to lead the student to reason through different questions, analyses, comparisons, organizations and correlations of data that allow them to understand and explain the constant changes in the space in which they live. The activities were applied to 6th grade full-time scoll ESTIMA Dr. Octacilio Lino, and the school (E.M.E.I.F)Babaquara Altamira-Pa. based on the project Geographical learning: thinking/doing for pedagogical practices in teaching environments.
