Acesso em:.https://bdm.ufpa.br/handle/prefix/8613This work presents the development, construction, and characterization of a high-voltage generator prototype using Amplitude Shift Keying (ASK) modulation. The system comprises three main blocks: an astable multivibrator oscillator for generating the 15 kHz carrier, a Flyback transformer for voltage step-up, and an Arduino microcontroller responsible for generating the digital modulation signal. The circuit enables the reproduction of specific sound frequencies through the electric arc, implementing the plasma-acoustic transduction technique. Experimental measurements were carried out using a digital oscilloscope for temporal and spectral analysis of the generated signals, as well as dielectric breakdown experiments to estimate the output voltage of the Flyback transformer, reaching approximately 22.4 kV. The prototype demonstrated proper operation, operational safety, and fidelity in carrier modulation.
