All cases of suicide must be reported, as they are suspicious deaths and legal medicine is of utmost importance in elucidating suicide cases. Therefore, the search for accurate, complete and timely epidemiological information has become necessary and essential for monitoring, planning and executing more appropriate actions to address this issue more efficiently. Therefore, the question was asked about the epidemiological profile of victims of suspected suicide occurring in the metropolitan region of Belém in the period from 2019 to 2023. Considering the hypothesis that suggested the epidemiological profile of victims of suspected suicide occurring in the metropolitan region of Belém in The period from 2019 to 2023 is similar to the national profile of suicide victims that occurred in the same period. The progressive increase in the number of cases and the issue has become a serious public health problem in recent decades.
