In Brazil, the disease occurs mainly in the Amazon region. This study aimed to evaluate the epidemiological incidence of malaria in the municipality of Portel - Pará - Brazil, in the period from 2008 to 2015 through the investigation of cases reported by the Municipal Health. Thus, all observed variables found to have been constant fluctuations between the numerous periods studied. Since the years of higher incidence of positive cases of malaria were 2009 and 2011.
