Acesso em:.https://bdm.ufpa.br/handle/prefix/10433In the debates about more humanized pedagogical methods that are significant for early childhood education, Clowning appears as an artistic language with deep educational potential. Far from being just circus entertainment, the figure of the Clown carries with itself elements such as playfulness, spontaneity, error as learning and body expressiveness — characteristics that dialogue directly with the needs of the child's development. This work seeks to investigate Clowning as a pedagogical instrument in early childhood education, starting from a central question: how can this artistic language be used in educational contexts, contributing to the integral development of the child? The question is not just about bringing a Clown into the classroom, but about understanding how the principles and practices of clowning can transform the relationship between teaching, learning, and affection. The objective is to analyze the contributions of this art to the cognitive, social, emotional and expressive dimensions of the preschool child. It is understood that, by experiencing the universe of the Clown, with its logic of the absurd, its comic vulnerability and its creative freedom, the child finds a safe space to explore emotions, develop language, exercise empathy and strengthen bonds with the other. For this, the research adopts a qualitative approach and bibliographic nature, dialoguing with reference works in the areas of Clowning, Theater and Pedagogy, from authors who think of the body, the game and art as axes of education, being summoned to substantiate, analyze and build bridges between the artistic universe and the school space. The work does not propose a practical recipe, but an invitation to reflection: what if laughter, surprise and good-natured failure were treated as allies of learning? The search for the answer, built throughout the pages that follow, points to a more lively, sensitive and attentive Pedagogy to the child in its totality.Acesso AbertoPalhaçoTeatro - Estudo e ensinoTeatro para criançasEducação infantilClownTheater - Study and teachingTheater for childrenEarly childhood educationCNPQ::LINGUISTICA, LETRAS E ARTES::ARTES::TEATROO Nariz Vermelho Também Ensina: a Dimensão Lúdica da Palhaçaria na Educação InfantilTrabalho de Curso - Graduação - MonografiaAttribution 3.0 Brazil
