In electromagnetic modelling the concepts of isotropy and homogeneity are commonly used, because the anisotropy and heterogeneity complicates the mathematical solution. In spite of being a complicating, the use can give a response closer of reality. In this work, we used de formulation that uses matrices to describe the electromagnetic field. We made an analysis of how the anisotropy influenciates the mMT 1-D response, and this work is a good excercise of aplication of this formulation. This formulation uses matrices to describe the electromagnetic fields propagation. The anisotropy is given by a tensor of conductivity, and its geometry can have a horizontal (θ) or vertical (α) variation. With minimal modification, we adapted this formulation to marine MT, where the measures are made in seafloor. We made models to analyse the influence of anisotropy in MT response, making variation in anisotropy parameters. With a geoelectrical model we made 4 experiments. In the first experiment, we made a variation in ρx, and kept the others resistivity equals and θ e α equal to zero. After ρy, in the same way, and also ρx e ρy. In experiment 2, we used ρx equal to the half of others resistivity and made a variation in α and kept θ igual a zero. The same way to experiment 3 and 4. But in experiment 3, we used ρy equal to half of ρy and ρz and in experiment 4, ρx e ρy equal to half of ρz. With the relations of impedance tensor and electromagnetic field, we could see the influence of wich property.Acesso AbertoModelagemMétodo magnetotelúricoAnisotropiaCNPQ::CIENCIAS EXATAS E DA TERRA::GEOCIENCIAS::GEOFISICAModelagem de dados mMT 1-D com anisotropiaTrabalho de Curso - Graduação - Monografia
