Acesso em:.https://bdm.ufpa.br/handle/prefix/8393This study proposed the development of an architectural design for a cultural center in Ananindeua, aiming to promote socialization, encourage culture, and meet the growing demand for public spaces dedicated to art and education in the city. Ananindeua, part of the Belém Metropolitan Region, historically lacks cultural infrastructure, and its population relies on the capital for access to cultural and leisure activities. Despite initiatives such as Parque Maguari and Usina da Paz, which serve specific areas, the city still has significant gaps in cultural spaces, especially in peripheral neighborhoods. The project aims to fill this need by providing a space that, in addition to being a center for cultural creation and discussion, will also serve as a social meeting point, integrating various cultural expressions and focusing on pluralism and interaction among citizens. Inspired by the model of the Centre Pompidou and the historical tradition of libraries and cultural centers, such as the Library of Alexandria, the proposed cultural center seeks to foster a diverse range of cultural activities, offering an accessible, sustainable environment that connects with the local urban fabric.
