As a methodology, this research carried out a bibliographical review, in order to analyze and list the use of electronic games as content in Physical Education classes. The research strategy was used an academic search engine (Google Scholar) and a digital library to Scientific Eletronic Library Online (SCIELO), one of the main journals referring to research developed in the area of Physical Education in Brazil, being the Brazilian Journal of Science of Sport. The sample consisted of six papers. The analyzed publications discuss the main characteristics about electronic games in the pedagogical practice of Physical Education, relating them directly to the social life of the students and the environment they are inserted.
