Acesso em:.https://bdm.ufpa.br/handle/prefix/3709Given that the desire is to know how the provision of law 10.639 / 2003 is being implemented in schools in the municipality of Acará, research on ethnic-racial education, Law 10.639 / 2003: its impacts on the education of elementary school students, Acará / Pá, in order to understand the guidelines brought by law 10.639 / 2003 that regulates the obligation of teaching Afro-Brazilian history and culture, specifically in elementary school. To this end, it is necessary to characterize how the Department of Education has been implementing the guidelines described in the official documents about law 10,639 in the Acará elementary schools, analyzing the political pedagogical project of the Pinto Marques school and finding out if there are guidelines or actions that direct the teaching. of ethnic-racial relations, to understand the teachers' interpretation of the importance of law 10,639 to be applied in elementary schools. Then, a qualitative research is carried out, as a research instrument uses document and structured interview.
