Acesso em:.https://bdm.ufpa.br/handle/prefix/8940The increasing adoption of DC microgrids operating on direct current, which are characterized by the interconnection of distributed generation and storage systems, has raised great interest both in academia and in applications aimed at remote communities. This interest is driven by the search for greater efficiency and sustainability through the use of photovoltaic solar energy. Thus, to optimize the performance of these grids, it is essential to improve operational assessment, particularly regarding power quality events. This study investigates power quality events related to long-duration voltage variations, with a focus on overvoltage occurrences in a DC microgrid (DCMG) implemented in the Ilha das Onças region, in the municipality of Barcarena, Pará, Brazil. The research conducted an analysis based on event duration across different scenarios and datasets collected grid-forming converters at the DCMG. The study considered the duration of overvoltage events at different irradiance levels, the number of weekly overvoltage hours over one year of monitoring, and the distribution of these occurrences throughout the day during the same period.
