Its manifestations can influence the psychological well-being and quality of life of patients. Assessing these impacts through instruments such as VitQol and the disease extent scale assists in the prognosis and treatment of those affected. The aim of the present study is to evaluate the extent of lesions and quality of life of patients with vitiligo undergoing treatment at a dermatology reference center in the state of Pará. An observational, cross-sectional study was conducted from May 2023 to April 2024 at the Dermatology Service of the Federal University of Pará, located at the João de Barros Barreto Hospital. Forty patients diagnosed with vitiligo enrolled in the service were included in the sample. The sample consisted of patients of both sexes, aged 10 years or older. A sociodemographic questionnaire, the Vitiligo Specific Quality-of-life instrument (Vitqol), and the Vitiligo Extent Score (VES) were used as assessment instruments. The profile of the patients treated was predominantly female, with income up to one minimum wage, and the most prevalent clinical form was Non-segmental. The mean score on the VitQol showed moderate alteration in quality of life, and there was no statistically significant correlation between VitQol and VES.
