Traditionally, schedule development is carried out using specialized software such as Microsoft Project, requiring technical knowledge from the user and manual definition of task precedence relationships. With the advancement of digital technologies, Artificial Intelligence–based tools have emerged as alternatives to support and automate the planning process. This study aims to compare the process of construction schedule development using the traditional method and an Artificial Intelligence–assisted approach. A case study was conducted on a small-scale building project using the same input data, including project scope, work breakdown structure, available teams, and estimated duration. Two schedules were developed and represented through Gantt charts, allowing analysis of activity organization, task parallelism, and total project duration.
