The aim of this research is analyze the levels of burnout syndrome in teachers at the elementary school level of public schools in the municipal of Castanhal, Pará. To achieve this objective, we realized a field research with a view to applying the sociodemographic questionnaire and the Inventory Maslach Burnout Inventory-MBIED, from which it is possible to evaluate how the professional experiences his work through three dimensions of burnout: Emotional Exhaustion, Professional Realization and Depersonalization.
