Acesso em:.https://bdm.ufpa.br/handle/prefix/5029The glomerulopathies are still wrongly considered as being benign on children; however, it is known that in 26% of the cases, these diseases evolved into chronicle renal failure. Nowadays, percutaneous renal biopsy is the most helpful instrument for diagnosis, for choosing the most proper treatment and prognostic of the glomerular diseases. The main goal of this research was to spot the results of renal biopsy affected in children and to trace a histopathological, clinical and laboratory profile of glomerulopathies in childhood, at the FSCMPA, from January 2002 to July 2008. The sample added up to 98 children submitted to renal biopsy, which 52,5% were male. The medium of age was 7,4 +/ 3,6. Renal biopsies demonstrated: primary glomerulopathies 72,7%, preserved histologic kidney 21,2%, secondary glomerulopathies 6,1%. The immunofluorescence was negative at 63,8% of the cases and at 23,2% of them, was found deposit of IgM plus C3. The frequency of primary glomerular diseases showed the following distribution: minimal change disease 59,7%, focal segmental glomerulosclerosis 9,7%, mesangial proliferative glomerulonephritis 9,7%, crescent glomerulonephritis 6,9%. The cause of all secondary glomerulopathies was systemic lupus erthematosus, having within class II the larger frequency of the cases 50%. Edema was present at 75,4%, proteinuria at 79,3%, hematuria at 62,1%, dyslipidemia at 60,9%, increased on urea levels at 41,4% and hipoalbuminemia at 52,4%.Acesso AbertoHistopatologiaGlomerulopatiasInfânciaHistopathologyGlomerulopathiesChildhoodCNPQ::CIENCIAS DA SAUDE::MEDICINAGlomerulopatias no serviço de nefrologia pediátrica, da Fundação Santa Casa De Misericórdia do ParáTrabalho de Curso - Graduação - Monografia
