Acesso em: .https://bdm.ufpa.br/handle/prefix/8984We present in this article a didactic proposal aimed at 7th-grade students, centered on the discursive genre narrative of memory, articulating traditional eating practices and affective memory for the development of reading and writing practices. Our objective is to contribute to overcoming the reading and writing difficulties of students from Tracuateua-PA, strengthening their connection with local culture and community, as well as promoting more contextualized and meaningful teaching practices that value traditional knowledge. We adopted a qualitative approach, conducting the research through the design and implementation of a didactic sequence structured according to the model proposed by Dolz, Noverraz, and Schneuwly (2004), who conceive this instrument as a systematic means of expanding the teaching of discursive genres in the classroom. Our work was based on the theoretical contributions of Freire (1989), Bakhtin (2016), Rojo (2018), and Moura (2023), who understand reading and writing as social and dialogical practices.
