The methodology used is based on a qualitative and dialectical analytical line, making use of instruments such as semi-structured interviews with riverside women working in the community's palm heart factories, documentary and bibliographical survey and GPS point survey for the construction of the cartographic project. It was noted the occurrence of spaces specified by gender, motivated by the submission of female work to invisibility, precariousness, remuneration difference and other elements of female subjugation, even though this activity plays a fundamental role in generating income and sustenance for such women and their families. families.Acesso AbertoTrabalhogêneroAmazôniapalmitoWorkgenderamazonpalmheartCNPQ::CIENCIAS SOCIAIS APLICADAS::ECONOMIA::ECONOMIA DOS RECURSOS HUMANOS::TREINAMENTO E ALOCACAO DE MAO-DE-OBRA OFERTA DE MAO-DE-OBRA E FORCA DE TRABALHOTrabalho e gênero na Amazônia: o trabalho feminino em fábricas de palmito em Mamangalzinho, Igarapé-Miri, ParáTrabalho de Curso - Graduação - ArtigoAttribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivs 3.0 Brazil
