Acesso em:.https://bdm.ufpa.br/handle/prefix/3865The present work aims to discuss the teaching of chemistry in the current context of using the tools available through the internet such as video classes, focusing on the choice of appropriate videos and their use for teaching, as well as the didactic use that the production of videos by students can bring to their learning. In this sense, we sought to dialogue with several theorists who deal with didactics, use of video classes for teaching chemistry, planning and production of videos by students, the use of these videos for teaching radioactivity, analysis of video classes showing positive and negative points and, finally, it shows an experience report referring to the experiences obtained by the teacher in training during the teaching internship. The methodology for the research is characterized as bibliographical, with a content survey carried out with pre-defined categories for the titles of chapters/articles. For this, the platforms “Brazilian Digital Library of Theses and Dissertations” and “Scielo” were used. The discussions carried out with these theorists made it possible to clarify, for example, that no matter how much suitable materials are found for teaching chemistry on the You Tube platform or on specialized sites, it should be considered that these possible learnings permeate the culture, language and customs of the students; the importance of the teacher encouraging students to ask questions and mediate the meeting of answers; the didactic details, such as the use of a whiteboard as long as you are wearing dark clothes; the pedagogical principles to be applied.
